30,000 Euro To Be Awarded To Clare For 1916 Rising Commemorations

30,000 euro is expected to be awarded to Clare, to allow for the 1916 Rising to be commemorated in communities throughout the country.

The money will come from central government, but the Council itself is to be pressed for more funding from its own coffers to allow for the centenary to be celebrated here.
