Over 3,000 customers in Clare are without power now as a result of the weather conditions.
A single fault in the Miltown Malbay area is affecting around 3,000 households – that’s expected to be rectified by 5.30pm.

Meanwhile, 250 further homes in the Tulla, Scarriff, Cranny and Newmarket on Fergus areas are also without power.
Supply is expected to be restored there by 8 o’clock tonight at the latest.
