Renovo was founded in 2010 and is an automotive data management software company.

It’s new European software development hub will be located in the Future Mobility Campus in Shannon, with the new roles being spread across management, software development, engineering, and business development.

The company says it will also be recruiting in the areas of programme management and artificial intelligence in the coming months.

In a statement this morning, Renovo co-founder Chris Heiser says that a number of sites were investigated across the EU before they settled on Shannon, and that the company intends to work locally with the Midwest’s established community of auto tech companies such as Jaguar Land Rover going forward.

Today’s development is part of a wider announcement of 185 new jobs across eight IDA-supported companies.

20 jobs will also come on stream at Ooomnitza in Galway.
