Businesses in the Burren are looking forward to a 2 point 5 million euro economic boost during six local festivals in the next two months.
The organisers are coming together to launch Burren Festivals 2012 in Ballyvaughan this afternoon in a joint marketing initiative to maximise the benefits for the North Clare economy.
The six events include the Brehon Law Weekend, the Burren in Bloom Festival and the Burren Marathon Challenge in May as well as the An Post Tour de Burren, the Ballyvaughan Races, and a new event – Féile an tSamhraidh in June.
