154 projects in Clare are to receive a Government funding boost under the Community Support Fund.
10 million euro in funding is available under the scheme which was launched in November 2022, with €100,000 ring-fenced specifically to support Women’s Sheds.
The aim of the fund is to support groups, particularly in disadvantaged areas, with their energy bills, as well as with improvements to their facilities.

Minister Heather Humphreys has today announced that 305,000 euro has been allocated to Clare projects, with the North Burren Community Group in Bell harbour receiving the highest allocation of 9,000 euro.
