114 Clare Schools To Receive Minor Works Grants

114 primary schools in Clare are to benefit from a 29 million fund for minor works.

The Minister for Education, Joe McHugh has announced a flat rate Minor Works Grant of €5,500 for primary schools, with an additional €18.50 per mainstream pupil and €74 per special needs pupil attending a special school or special class.

It follows a commitment under Project Ireland 2040 that the Minor Works Grant will be paid on an annual basis to all primary schools.
