149 children, many of whom will be going back to school this week, will be doing so from a Mid-West homeless facility.
The latest figures from the Department of Housing show that over 67 people availed of emergency accommodation in Clare during the week of 24th-30th of July compared to 61 people the previous month.

Although, the national figures have risen to a new record high of 12,847 people, Tánaiste Micheál Martin has ruled out reinstating the eviction ban for the winter months.
MidWest Simon CEO Jackie Bonfield says the Tánaiste’s announcement has taken a safety net away from vulnerable families.
