This week’s guest on In Profile is Joe Lillis.
Joe is a Clare man with many strings to his bow. During his working life, Joe spent many years working with Coillte, while on the sports field he played for his home club, Kilmurry Ibrickane.
Joe was no slouch when it came to the big ball – he also played at all grades with Clare, even captaining the Banner’s Senior team in 1966.

Joe also has an interest in numerous community initiatives and, later in life, developed a passion for climbing and hiking, which ultimately led to him climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Everest base camp.
Joe is a fascinating character and made for a great interviewee.
