This week’s guest for In Profile is Tom Carey.
Tom’s story begins in the Kingdom of Kerry, although he has called Clare home for many years.

Tom was County Engineer in Clare for over a decade. Indeed, he was Clare’s last County Engineer. During his time in the role, he oversaw significant road improvement schemes and new road infrastructure such as Newmarket on Fergus and Ennis Bypasses – now M18.
Tom is an active member of Ennis Lions Club, who he has served as both President and Secretary
