Indeed, the Kilrush native has achieved so much in his relatively short life.
He went from being banned from playing football and excluded from entering any GAA grounds in Ireland for a year as a teenager, to frontline service with Clare County Fire & Rescue Service and roles as a Town Councillor and Mayor of Kilrush…as well as becoming an award-winning poet!
