Neil is an award-winning musician and composer from County Clare, who began playing the flute at a young age, quickly developing a reputation for his playing amongst his peers and elder musicians.

After many years based in Dublin being bassist of choice for Ireland’s leading jazz musicians and accompanying visiting stars, he returned to his roots and began investigating the possibilities of creating a musical style based on his background in Irish traditional music.
