This week’s In Profile is John Roberts.
John’s origins may be in the south of England, but he has been in Clare for a long time.

He lives here with his wife, Dr. Rhona Lucas, who runs An Cat Dubh animal sanctuary at Cloonlaheen.
John is a lover of music as well as being a music promoter. In fact, he still manages bands and a nightclub in the UK. John has tonnes of tales to share on meeting many of the greats in rock and roll.
However, in a previous life John was a policeman in the UK for over thirty years.
During his time as a copper, he worked undercover as a member of the Drugs Squad.
John has as many great tales from those days as he does of meeting musical legends!
