Six Changes To Clare Side For National Hurling League Clash With Carlow

Brian Lohan has made six changes to his side for tomorrow evening’s National Hurling League clash with Carlow.

Among them are a senior starting debut for Jamie Moylan and first starts of the season for David McInerney and Ian Galvin.

The rotation between the posts continues for Clare, with Eibhear Qulligan restored to the number one jersey.

Despite leaving the field in Newbridge with an injury, Conor Leen is named at corner back with Conor Cleary and Dylan McMahon continuing in the full back line.

David McInerney starts for the first time this season and is named at centre back, with starting debutante Jamie Moylan and Cathal Malone named in the wing back roles.

The midfield pairing is Ryan Taylor and Diarmuid Stritch.

Tony Kelly is named at centre forward with Jack O’Neill and David Fitzgerald on the wings.

Ian Galvin also starts for the first time this year having come off the bench in Newbridge, and he is joined in the inside line by Shane Meehan and Mark Rodgers.

David Reidy and John Conlon are among those listed in the subs while Sean Rynne features in a matchday squad for the first time this year.
