Clare manager Paul Madden says his side have to take confidence from their performance in defeat to Down in the National Football League.
A late goal from Odhran Murdock saw the home side in Newry secure a five point victory, with Clare having led by the minimum inside the closing stages.

Thoughts now turn to a showdown with a Westmeath side who kicked the last two points of the game to beat Sligo by a point in their opening round tie.
