The captain of Clare’s Munster U20 hurling championship winning side says the hurt of last years final loss drove them to victory this time around.
Broadford’s Eoghan Gunning lifted his third major piece of silverware as a Clare captain when he added the provincial U20 trophy to the Munster and All Ireland cups from 2023.
The victory came 12 months on from defeat to the same opposition at the same venue, with Mark Sheedy’s penalty shootout heroics being a key part.
Gunning says everyone in their group was determined to make sure they would come out on top.
You can hear reaction from Eoghan Gunning, Terence Fahy, Mark Sheedy and Andrew Fahy after Wednesday evening’s game on Sideline View this evening from 6pm
