A former All Ireland junior winning coach with Clare is expressing her surprise at the announcement of new trial rules for camogie.
The Association has unveiled a suite of changes to be introduced for the National League, mirroring changes being tried in ladies football.

These include the introduction of dissent penalties, changes to substitution protocols, allowing sideline restarts from the hand inside the defensive 45m line, and changes to the barging rule.
Clare FM analyst Ann Marie McGann says it will be interesting to see how they work out.
