Shannon is set to benefit from an electric charging boost at a prominent location in the town.
It comes as ESB has been granted planning permission for two new EV charging units and four charging bays at Shannon Town Centre, formerly known as the Sky Court.

The development will require a modular substation to be installed on site and a reconfiguration of the shopping centre’s car park.
Clare County Council granted permission subject to four conditions, including that action is taken to prevent the risk of flooding.
