Clare will find out who they will face in the opening round of the Tailteann Cup this afternoon.
It’s after Paul Madden’s side came up short against All Ireland champions Kerry in a battling showing in their Munster semi final clash.

This is the first time Clare will compete in the second tier competition, with the winner being automatically promoted back to the Sam Maguire series for 2027.
Madden says while they were disappointed to lose against the Kingdom, there were plenty positives to take from the performance.

The draw for the opening round games take place at 1pm this afternoon, with the first drawn team to have home advantage.
