Urgent Meeting Sought With Bus Éireann Over Shannon to Limerick/Ennis Services

An urgent meeting is being sought with Bus Éireann over its services from Shannon and Sixmilebridge to Limerick and Ennis.

Shannon Councillors have raised concerns over the frequency of busses in and out of the town and delays in arrival and departure times.

They’ve written to the transport company to request a discussion on problems they believe have emerged in the past number of months in particular.

The matter has been raised by Sinn Féin Councillor Mike McKee who believes bus services must be efficient, punctual and affordable – something he says isn’t currently the case.
