On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Lorraine Mullholland who is from Antrim and previously attended Queen’s University in Belfast. She is also the woman behind Irish History Bitesize which is a very popular twitter account. Lorraine discussed her debut book which she has just published called ‘St Brigid & Other Amazing Irish Women.’ She spoke about what inspired her to write the book which can be described as an encyclopedia of Irish women from all walks of life. She also mentioned what surprised her while writing the book about church history in Ireland. The book can be purchased across all bookstores nationwide and in the Ennis Bookshop.
