A West Clare business has been honoured as the best four star hotel in the country.
The Armada Hotel at Spanish Point received the accolade last night at the Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Awards, which reward excellence in hospitality and catering operations across Ireland.
The ceremony, held at the Galmont Hotel in Galway City, saw further Clare interest, with the Lahinch Coastal Arms Hotel, Hotel Doolin and The Old Ground Hotel in Ennis also receiving nominations.
