The remains of Lahinch man Micheál Ryan will be repatriated home to Ireland this week.
The father of two was one of 157 people who died on board an Ethopian Airlines flight that crashed earlier this year.
Its reported his family was notified in recent weeks that his remains had been recovered.
The coffin will be met at Dublin Airport on Tuesday by an Irish Government Official and a UN World Food Programme representative, before being taken to Lahinch for private burial.
