Public Still Need To Do All They Can Not To Contract Coronavirus

Public health officials are warning some people who’ve recovered from Covid-19 are still experiencing long-term side effects and aren’t back to full health.

While new figures show 92 per cent of the over 25,000 cases here are classed as having recovered, some are suffering with fatigue and have difficulties exercising.

The Covid-19 death toll has risen to 1,703, after a further 8 patients died, while 8 new cases have been confirmed.

One of these cases was recorded in Clare – bringing the current total of confirmed cases in the county to 369.

It was the first case confirmed here in eight days.
