On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Paul Kenny who is the Course Leader at the Retirement Planning Council of Ireland. Paul discussed the results of the recent survey carried out by the Retirement Planning Council of Ireland. The results suggested that one third of the people who carried out the survey are worried about retirement and how they will spend their time. He spoke about the various reasons why a person may be anxious to retire and also described the financial stress that it may weigh on a particular person or family. Paul suggested ways in which a retiree can manage their free time after retirement and urged people to maximise their expertise in order to aid themselves financially and personally.
