Students who have been renting private accommodation for college may not receive a refund if they had to vacate due to COVID-19.
While most colleges have agreed to issue partial refunds to students staying in on-campus accommodation who left as a result of the coronavirus, some private accommodation providers are refusing to do so.
Most notably City Campus in Limerick and Glasán in Galway are refusing to issue refunds, as they are under no obligation to do so.
