On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Margaret Cotter from Loophead Together and Laura Foley who is involved the Hemp4Soil Project to discuss their recent success at the All Ireland Community Awards. Margaret described her excitement regarding Loophead’s success at the IPB awards where Loophead Together were the overall winners of the Coastal Community category. She spoke about the opportunity of the awards night which helps recognise the voluntary work taking place all over Ireland. Laura spoke about her communities success in the IPB awards where they were named winner of the Climate Action Special Award for a regenerative farming experiment named Hemp4Soil, which explores the potential to improve soil quality.
