A Clare Cancer survivor is urging people never take your health for granted.
Gary Brooks from Kildysart was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2021, a condition that affects one in seven Irish men.
Last year, the Irish Cancer Society facilitated 229 journeys to bring 34 Clare patients for treatment and on Friday next week, the group will once again be hosting their flagship fundraiser Daffodil Day.

Gary is urging people to support the fundraiser, but also says it’s vital that both men and women take a proactive approach if they’re experiencing any symptoms.
