Irish Water Working To Restore Water Supply In Parteen And Clonlara

Irish Water and Clare County Council are working to restore water supply to customers in the Parteen and Clonlara areas affected by a burst water main which occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning.

They say that a full repair may take some time to complete.

It’s expected that the majority of customers will have a partial supply restored over the coming hours. However pressure may be lower than normal, particularly in properties at higher elevations.

If any customers are still without water, they are asked to contact the Irish Water customer care line at 1850 278 278.

In the meantime, alternative water supplies are available at the following location:
· At Lackyle Housing Estate, Ardnacrusha from 12 noon until 3pm today
· At Westbury Shopping Centre from 1pm to 3pm today

Irish Water has apologised for any inconvenience
