The incoming Cathaoirleach of the West Clare Municipal District is calling for greater funding for road enhancement in West Clare.
Councillor Ian Lynch, who previously held the role from 2018 to 2019, was elected to the position last evening at Áras Contae an Chláir.
The Kilrush native has identified roads in both rural and urbans areas of the west of the county which are in need of upgrading and believes more meaningful government investment is required.
