Hopes Works On First Phase Of Limerick Distributor Road Will Commence In Spring

It’s hoped works on the first phase of the Limerick Northern Distributor road could be completed within the next two years.

The first phase of the project is planned to connect Knockalisheen to Coonagh via a mainline dual carriageway before linking up with the New Moyross Link Road.

After Roadbridge entered receivership in 2022 , the development was temporarily put on pause, however after returning to tender, its understood that contractors could be appointed to commence works in the Spring.

Cratloe Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat O’Gorman says it will bring major benefits.
