On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Inspector Paul Slattery who is the Head of the Roads Policing Unit in the Clare Garda Division. Paul reminded listeners that E-Scooters are classified as “powered personal transporters” which are subject to vehicle registration, tax and insurance. He highlighted the legislation set to soon come into place that will give greater clarification surrounding the usage of E-Scooters. He also reminded people that there repercussions for anyone who are found to be misusing E-Scooters in the county.
