Fear Two Junctions On M18 Pose “Real Danger” For Road Users

An East Clare councillor has expressed fear that two junctions on the Limerick to Galway motorway pose a “real danger” for road users.

Junction 13 to Ennis, Scarriff and Tulla and Junction 14 to Barefield have come under scrutiny due to the alleged insufficient lengths of their entrance ramps which force motorists to rapidly alter their speed.

Councillor Pat Hayes raised the issue at this month’s Clare County Council meeting and claimed that many constituents had alerted him to the problem.
