A Clare GP warned people of the unknown effects of using vapes regularly especially in young people.
New measures expected to become law in July will outlaw the sale of e-cigarettes to children and restrict the advertising of them on public transport and near schools.
There will also be a ban on the sale of vaping products from vending machines.
