On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Paula Carroll who is the Project Co-ordinator of Cuimhneamh an Chláir and Leonard McDonagh who is the Chairperson of Cuimhneamh an Chláir. Cuimhneamh an Chláir are an independent voluntary group preserving the oral history, heritage and folklore of County Clare. They discussed their upcoming live podcast recording with Eugene Lamb and the launch of their new website. Eugene also joined the discussion with Paula and Leonard. Eugene is a piper from North Clare who has donated his significant 1980’s collection of video recordings of musician’s, singer’s and native Irish speakers to Cuimhneamh an Chláir.
Cuimhneamh an Chláir will host the podcast recording with Eugene Lamb this Thursday at 7pm in the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis.
