Clare TD Claims Govt Doesn’t Have Political Will To Enforce New Migration Plans

A Clare Independent TD claims the Governments new proposals to ease pressure on the immigration system will not tackle the root of the problem.

The plans will see a move away from the reliance of private hotel owners, with 14 thousand State-owned beds being provided by 2028.

Modular housing would also be developed on State-owned land, along with upgrading current IPAS centres, and the design and construction of new reception centres.
