Clare GP Warns Of Noticeable Increase In Covid Referrals In Last Two Days

A prominent Clare GP is warning of a noticeable increase in Covid-19 referrals over the past two days.

The country will start reverting back to Level 5 restrictions from tomorrow in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus, after 970 new cases were recorded across the country yesterday, with fewer than five of those in Clare.

The CEO of the HSE has said Ireland is at the highest risk position to date and that health officials are working on the ‘absolute premise’ that the new strain of the virus is already here.
