Clare Campaigner Warns Of ‘Tragedies’ Should Maternity Rules Not Be Relaxed

A Clare campaigner is warning of potential ‘tragedies’ should current maternity restrictions on new parents not be lifted.

Concern continues to be expressed about hospital rules currently keeping partners of pregnant women out of maternity wards due to COVID-19 concerns.

Government plans due to be announced later this week will aim to introduce national guidelines around the issue – but these may see different policies in place depending on location.
