Claims Shannon Electoral Funding Boost Could Provide Essential Infrastructure For The Region

A significant funding boost proposed for the Shannon Municipal District is tipped to play a key role in delivering infrastructure for the region.

A General Muncipial Allocation of €343,000 has been tabled for the electoral area at a draft budgetary meeting this week.

The figure is still to be confirmed at a final meeting next month, however if confirmed local councillors will have €89,000 more to spend on community projects than last year.
