On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Marilyn Kelly who is an Australian woman currently living in County Clare until January. She discussed the aim of her trip to Ireland in order to trace her West Clare roots for the book she is writing about her extended family in the area. She also spoke about her particular interest in meeting the Glascloon Kelly’s as they are the earliest documented Kelly’s that can be found in Clare, going far back as 1659. Marilyn appealed to listeners to help her gather important material for her book.
