The Minister of State at the Department of Transport says the Government is now in a ‘better space’ to conclude the transfer of the county’s Shannon Heritage sites to the local authority.
Jack Chambers is in county Clare today and has met with officials from both Clare County Council and the Shannon Airport Group this morning.
The impasse between all three parties on the future of the site has been ongoing for a number of months, though it’s understood a breakthrough in discussions has been made in recent weeks.
