Marian Moloney, Vice-Chair of Galway Visually Impaired Activities Club, joined us on air to tell us about the Galway Visually Impaired Activities Club and to invite anyone with vision difficulties to get involved with the group.
They’re into everything from dancing and cycling to tennis, cookery and technology.
With the support of NCBI, they’re holding an information day on Saturday week, November 9th, when they’ll also have information on housing and employment support. The event runs from 11am to 3pm at the Galmont Hotel in Galway City.
