After a long wait the starting gun has been fired on the race for the leadership of Fine Gael. At midnight last night, Wednesday, Enda Kenny officially stepped down as head of the party.
However, he’ll stay on as Taoiseach until the process of picking his successor is complete on June 2nd.
Martin Conway joined Gavin to reflect on Enda’s spell as FG leader and announce who he would like to see as the next leader.
