Friends of a young East Clare man who sustained life-changing injuries in an incident last month have set up a fundraising campaign to support him and his family.
Francis Kelly also know as Francie Kelly turns 19 on the 30th of April, but he does so in the spinal injuries unit in Dublin’s matter hospital.
This is because he was involved in a tragic accident a month ago, where he sustained serious injuries when jumping into Lough Derg.
Last week, Gavin met Francie Kelly’s sister Anna, and also his friend Michael Guiheen who has set up an online fundraising campaign, entitled ‘A Little Something for Francie‘.
The Gofundme campaign has already received a huge response from those who know him and also those who don’t.
