A group of TY students from CBS in Ennistymon have worked tremendously hard to record and launch an EP, that they have entitled ‘Home On My Back’.
Niall Hegarty, Adam Daniels, Colm Collins, Patrick Sheridan, Aaron Mc Gannon, Evan Flanagan, Eoin Rouine & Ben Whelehan are launching their debut EP ‘Home on my Back’ at Teach Ceoil, tonight (Weds, Mar 27, 7 pm) with special guest and collaborator, Luka Bloom.
Their CD contains two original songs and a poem.
The recording took place in the school, and was recorded and mastered by local musician and past student Jon O’Connell and the project was supported through the Creative Engagement Programme supported by the Arts and Culture Committee of The National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD); and co-funded by the Department of Arts Heritage and the Gaeltacht and the Department of Education and Skills.
