Today, Gavin spoke about the demands for the Clare Garda Commissioner to fund a training trip to Minnesota for cutting down on domestic violence in Clare. The proposed trip would involve volunteers and local officers, in an aim to implement the blueprint safety strategy that they have in St Paul, Minnesota. Clare would be the first county in Ireland to do so with hopes that the plan would then be picked up across the country.
