A low level yellow wind warning for Clare remains in place until midday as Storm Gareth batters the country.
There were strong winds overnight, with gusts of up to 80 kilometres per hour recorded at the Shannon weather station.
There are no major issues reported on Clare roads this morning, but debris is possible in many areas.
