Most UL Courses To Remain Online Until September 2021

The region’s main university has announced the majority of its courses will continue to be taught online for the rest of the academic year.

The University of Limerick is the first university in the country to announce such a move, saying it has done so to allow for greater planning for staff and students, and keeping the health of their community a priority.

On-campus activity, part of which is in Clare, will be limited to what’s described as ‘essential learning activities’ such as research and lab based learning.

UL say they will consider restoring face-to-face learning later in the year if public health restrictions are relaxed.
