UHL Tops Trolleywatch Report Once Again

University Hospital Limerick is once again the most overcrowded in the country today.

The INMO’s daily trolleywatch analysis of hospitals around the country shows that there were 34 patients waiting to be seen at the Dooradoyle facility earlier.

Of that number, 22 were on trolleys in the emergency department while 12 were being catered for in overflow areas of wards.

It’s six more than the next busiest of University Hospital Galway and comes on a day when 372 admitted patients were waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
