A Supreme Court judge will this morning open a tribunal investigating the alleged smearing of Garda whistleblowers.
Justice Peter Charleton will give an opening statement at a largely ceremonial session of the inquiry, just under two weeks after it was agreed by the cabinet that one should be set up.
It’s expected the speech will set out the timeline of proceedings.
