Companies in the tourism and hospitality sector in Clare area gearing up for a return to business, or in some cases a new form of business.

J.J. Corry Irish Whiskeys, based in Cooraclare, will open its doors to guests on July 20th for socially distant tours of the distillery.

The whiskey bonder normally relies on foreign sales but is instead hoping to entice local people to enjoy ‘staycations’ and day trips in West Clare for the latter half of the summer.

Founder & CEO, Louise McGuane says they had initially only planned to open tours for foreign customers but have had to change plans due to the coronavirus.
